Welcome to the QuantityWare Usage Questionnaire! Answer the questions below to calculate the required BCS product(s) for your organisation. Submit your results so QuantityWare can arrange test BCS usage keys and provide you with a quote.

Why are these required?

Providing us with accurate information below will allow us to:

  • Provide you a test usage key as quickly as possible (if required)
  • Get in touch with you to generate a quote
  • Obtain digital sign-off from your manager to confirm your answers to the questionnaire

BCS Products

BCS Products

The first section of the Questionnaire helps determine which of the BCS Products you will require.

BCS (Bulk Calculations Solution) is comprised of two products:

  • BCP: Bulk Calculations - Petroleum
  • BCG: Bulk Calculations - Gas

Find out more on the BCS Products on our Products page.

Depending on the types of product your organization processes using SAP Oil, Gas, and Energy, and whether or not you require our powerful quantity conversion functionality or analysis of your existing calculations only, you will need one or two of the products above.

The following two questions will help determine this.

NOTE: Both our Petroleum and Gas products support the standards for LPG and NGL, so you will need either our Petroleum or Gas product to process LPG / NGL, not both.

BCS Products - Petroleum Processing

QuantityWare BCS supports the following products*:

  • Crude Petroleum Products
  • LPG/NGL **
  • Petrochemicals
  • Bulk Chemicals
  • Biofuel

* Read the Supported Products FAQ for support of specific products. ** If the only product you will be processing in this list is LPG/NGL, and you will be processing other gas products listed in the next question, please answer this question with ‘no’.

QuantityWare BCS supports the following products*:

  • Natural Gas
  • Bio Gas
  • LNG
  • NGL/LPG **
  • 100% Hydrogen Gas / Hydrogen Gas Mixtures > 5% / Other Industrial Gases

Submit Results

On submitting these results to QuantityWare, the questionnaire will be sent to the specified manager / sign off contact for approval / signature, and processing by QuantityWare.

The configuration based on these results will be used as the basis for product usage quantification by QuantityWare.

Once the configuration has been included through mutual agreement of the defining party (customer) and QuantityWare by reference into valid usage agreements, the results of this questionnaire shall be considered to be legally binding.

If the usage quantification is exceeded in any area in future, the customer must inform QuantityWare of any such changes as defined in the usage agreement.

Condensate Supplement

Condensate calculations require the use of a petroleum quantity conversion standard - this is not supported by BCG. Our BCP Condensate supplement allows you to perform these condensate calculations, and validate legacy calculations, without requiring the full BCP product.

BCP Condensate is required when all of the following apply:

  • BCG is selected
  • "Condensate" is selected in the Products Groups Count question
  • You don't require BCP, or require BCP at a scale lower than BCG

The scale of the BCP Condensate supplement is set to match the scale of BCG and the usage is always Simple.

Supplement Requirements & Classifications

Condensate

Condensate calculations require the use of a petroleum quantity conversion standard - this is not supported by BCG. Our BCP Condensate supplement allows you to perform these condensate calculations, and validate legacy calculations, without requiring the full BCP product.

Hydrogen & Industrial Gases

BCG support for 100% hydrogen has / hydrogen gas mixtures greater than 5% / other industrial gases requires the use of our Hydrogen & Industrial Gases supplement.

BCG Hydrogen & Industrial Gases supplement is required when all of the following apply:

  • BCG is selected
  • "100% Hydrogen Gas / Hydrogen Gas Mixtures > 5% / other industrial gases" is chosen in the Products Groups Count question

All prices represent annual Euro usage fees, excluding German VAT and any applicable foreign taxes, duties or levies. Prices are valid as at 2024-04-26 and are subject to change. If your organization: a) has a single product at the "National/Simple" configuration only, b) has fewer than 20 SAP Oil, Gas, and Energy seats licensed, AND c) processes less than 5000 BOEPD, a 'Small Customer Usage Fee' will be applied.
